Windows 7 安装软件错误：“Error 1935 …HRESULT: 0x800736FD” 的解决办法2
7系统上安装软件时，有时会出现类似下面的错误：

 

Product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable — Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly

或者提示 注册表空间不足
Windows – Low On Registry Space : The system has reached the maximum size allowed for the system part of the registry. Additional storage requests will be ignored.

解决办法：
修改注册表项，去除注册表大小限制，把RegistrySizeLimit的值修改为ffffffff即可：
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
项: RegistrySizeLimit
类型: REG_DWORD
值: 0xffffff (4294967295)

问题原因可能是注册表大小被限制了，由于安装了较多的软件，尤其一些大软件如ArcGIS，Visual Studio 2010，和MS Office等，往注册表中写入了太多信息，导致其他软件安装时无法继续往注册表写入信息，从而安装不成功，往往都是安装程序停止在某个进度，不动了。通过修改注册表大小限制，软件就可以继续写注册表了。
之前一直安装不上的 Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 更新 (KB973688)和
Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 安全更新 (KB954430)，以及Security Update for Windows (KB979683) 也终于更新成功了~
